My miserable life - Poem

I wish I could bang my head against the wall
that way I know, I could end it all

Is there a point to this miserable life
it's just so full of strife

There was a time when life was simple, it was fun
now it's just sad and nowhere to turn

The circle of life should have its ups and downs
but mine doesn't seem to get off the ground

I feel so lonely, broken and blue
shattered in a million pieces, that can never be glued

Where is the love that's essential for life
seems to have gone away, leaving me empty inside

Maybe it's me that is to blame
but no matter what I do, nothing seems to change

It's sad how society dictates all these terms
about what is right and what is wrong

Grow up they say stop acting like a child
what do they know, I am already old inside

Tears pour out of me every day
now if only this would all go away.
